Oversees all Human Resources functions for the self directed 130 employee manufacturing facility. Serves as an organizational resource to the Bemis North America - Boscobel facility in areas of human capital. Provides strategic direction to support business needs in the areas of talent, culture and operational excellence. Ensures consistent application of policies, practices and procedures throughout the manufacturing facility as well as recommends process improvements.


  • Provide direct oversight and leadership to all HR team members at the Boscobel facility to include performance management, capability development and second-tier problem resolution.
  • Facilitate a culture that upholds Bemis core values and fosters positive employee relationships, maintaining a union-free environment.
  • Serve as member of the Boscobel Leadership team and partners with Division HR Directors on initiatives ensuring flawless execution and sustainability.
  • Serves as the plant"s organizational HR resource:
    • Proactive development and implementation of strategies to address human capital deficiencies/opportunities.
    • Responsible for developing and maintaining key business partner relationships resulting in opportunities to influence change appropriately.
    • Oversee key projects and initiatives as assigned including but not limited to, participation and leadership as required in Bemis change management initiatives.
    • Demonstrate active participation, tangible contributions and sustained process improvement in initiatives such as WCOM, V15ION, Connect and HR Roadmap.


  • Develop and maintain key business partner relationships.
  • Drive consistency and sustainability with initiatives throughout manufacturing locations.
  • Assist in the development of a world class organization and demonstrated leadership in building Bemis culture.
  • Successfully achieve milestone targets for HR roadmap
  • Institutionalize the performance management process and demonstrate differentiation in rewards.
  • Foster change leadership.
  • Build, inspire, and lead HR team members.



Bachelor"s Degree


  • 3-5 years of progressive HR experience
  • Manufacturing experience preferred

While performing the duties of this job, the employee if frequently required to stand, walk and sit and to be able to work at a computer from extended periods of time. The employee is also required to regularly walk through a manufacturing facility and is, therefore exposed to moderate noise levels. Up to 10% travel, some overnight, is required. Valid driver"s license required.
